The Collegeville Spiders AAU Baseball Club was founded in 2018 to offer an affordable option to local baseball players and their families looking for a cost effective program to teach the game of Baseball.

 

Our organization's mission is to help your child achieve their future goals on and off the field. After 5 years and 10 Seasons (fall and summer programs), we have been able to fulfill our mission to Develop all players wishing to play baseball at each level in front of them. Whether that be playing High School Ball or finding a College Team willing to make them an offer and Committing to those schools or an opportunity to coach others.
 

The Spiders success has been achieved through a carefully thought out process and program which starts at the 7th /8th grade players level with a desire to learn the game of baseball from its roots and work to achieve their goals on and off the
field. All of our staff coaches and managers agree on this and work to DEVELOP PLAYERS. Every player develops and learns in different ways and at different times. We take the time to celebrate their strengths and put them in a position to succeed on the field and off. We also help to coach the players to improve and grow the parts of the game they may struggle with or want to perform better at; hitting, fielding, and pitching. The key to development is starting early with the focus on learning. We achieve this through repetition and instruction. We start
the engagement process on the practice field, move to inter-squad games, and gradually work up to tournament play. This reduces Anxiety, gives the coaching staff the ability start with concepts and understanding of the game in practice, then instruct on the field during inter-squad games and finally compete in tournaments.

We have a team of experienced and dedicated coaches who are willing to put in the time and effort to help your child get to where they want to be, based on their individual goals. NOT every player wants to play High School or College Baseball most are still growing and are not sure what they want at 13/14 years of age. We want them to enjoy the game. Some want to learn the game and challenge themselves to see if this is what they want, some may want to be a coach in the future as well.  No matter what your player wants to achieve the program allows them to get as much out of it as they want to put into it.

 

Our coaches have played and achieved at the highest levels: on the field, in the batter’s box and on the pitching mound. Our coaches have vast backgrounds in the game and know how to teach and motivate young players to perform at their best, the results have proven this to be true as over 10 Spiders players who have been in the program and worn the Spiders uniform are currently committed to play college baseball starting next year with the class of 2023.
